About the company
It all began in 1965 when the CPJ Corporation, with its CHAIRMAN CARLOS PALANCA JR., and KOYO International, Inc. with its FOUNDING CHAIRMAN IWAO IKEDA, signed an Exclusive Distributorship Agreement with CPJ Corporation as the Exclusive Distributor of Koyo Bearings in the Philippines.
In 1975, Koyo Seiko together with CPJ Corporation formed a Joint Venture Company named Philippine Koyo Bearing Corporation, now JTEKT PKBC, Inc.
From 1975 up to 1984 JTEKT PKBC, Inc. was importing and stocking Koyo inventory in the Philippines.
1984 – present
JTEKT PKBC, Inc. shifted the business model from direct importation, stocking and distribution to indent arrangement and selling through local distributors and dealers.
Since then sales have grown year on year making Koyo the largest automotive and motorcycle bearing brand in the Philippines.
For 54 years the CP GROUP and JTEKT have maintained a powerful and united Joint Venture
